Gege Akutami’s JUJUTSU KAISEN manga formally concluded on September 30, 2024. The series ran for six and a half years, launching in March 2018, and wrapped up across 30 volumes. Volumes 29 and 30 were both issued on December 25, 2024. VIZ Media holds the English licensing. Studio MAPPA previously produced the anime TV seasons and the movie adaptation, with Crunchyroll handling the streaming.
The narrative centers on Yuji Itadori, a youngster blessed with extraordinary physical prowess who enrolls in a school for jujutsu sorcerers after meeting Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo, and Ryomen Sukuna. To postpone his execution for consuming one of Sukuna’s fingers, Yuji undertakes the quest to locate and ingest the remaining nineteen fingers of the ‘mightiest sorcerer in history’ in hopes of eliminating him. Nonetheless, the plan does not unfold without complications.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo spin-off manga debuted as a limited series in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 41 on September 8, 2025. Its second volume appeared on March 4, and the third—and final—volume hit Japanese stores on May 1. An animated promotional trailer was also released after the series concluded.
