My Hero Academia 10th Anniversary Reveals New Top 10 Heroes Visual

A unique My Hero Academia 10th‑anniversary pop‑up store will launch nationwide on August 28 2026, offering fresh merchandise inspired by a visual derived from an illustration created by the series’ author, Kohei Horikoshi.

Named My Hero Academia 10th Anniversary Shop: Top 10 Heroes Gather, the event is organized by TOHO animation and showcases the ten most popular characters from the 2024 global WORLD BEST HERO popularity poll.

The central illustration draws from Horikoshi’s original artwork of the poll’s top‑ranked characters, reimagined in the series’ characteristic anime aesthetic. The piece highlights these heroes:

1. Katsuki Bakugo
2. Izuku Midoriya
3. Shoto Todoroki
4. Shota Aizawa
5. Eijiro Kirishima
6. Endeavor
7. Hawks
8. Dabi
9. Tomura Shigaraki
10. Phantom Thief

Merchandise featuring the anniversary artwork will be available at the pop‑up location. Extras that incorporate earlier designs from the “Top 10 Heroes” collection are slated to be unveiled subsequently.

The venue forms a component of the broader festivities commemorating the tenth year of the My Hero Academia anime series. Originating from Horikoshi’s manga, the story debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014 and wrapped up in August 2024. An additional brief anime centered on Eri is scheduled for a digital launch on August 2.

Horikoshi will also appear in the publication with a fresh 61‑page horror short called Don’t Laugh, Shijima‑san, representing his debut standalone work after finishing My Hero Academia. The comic will see release in the merged Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 37/38 on August 10.

The showcase kicks off in Tokyo and will subsequently move to multiple other cities throughout Japan.
