PANGANDARAN, Thecuy.com – The use of digital technology and the internet in the bureaucratic services of the Pangandaran District government still needs to be optimized. One example is the use of email and electronic signatures (TTE) by employees.

Based on this situation, the Communication, Informatics, Statistics, and Encryption Service (Diskominfo) of Pangandaran Regency conducts guidance on the activation of government email accounts and registration of electronic signatures (TTE) for part‑time government employees under work‑based contracts (PPPK).

The guidance is intended to equip civil servants with legitimate, secure, and efficient digital work equipment, enabling them to improve government service performance in the modern era.

The use of email serves as an official digital identity for civil servants, separating personal and official affairs. This enhances credibility, accountability, and the security of government data traffic.

“Meanwhile, a certified Electronic Signature (TTE) is the digital counterpart of a wet signature, possessing legal validity and binding force,” said Tonton Guntari, head of Pangandaran’s Communication and Informatics Agency, on Friday (24/7/2026).

According to him, TTE is backed by an electronic certificate that ensures the signer’s identity is verified with certainty. This technology also guarantees the integrity of the document. “This means the document’s content is locked and cannot be altered (manipulated) by any party after it has been signed,” he said.

Galih Avomegi, Head of Applications, Informatics and Persandian at the Communication and Informatics Agency of Pangandaran Regency, said that adopting Government Email and TTE among civil servants is not just about following a tech trend, but a crucial instrument whose ultimate aim is public satisfaction.

“The digitalization of bureaucracy ultimately serves the community. TTE offers substantial benefits for public services. Citizens no longer need to wait days simply because the responsible official is on official duty and cannot sign physical documents,” he explained.

With TTE, the validation of documents, permits, or citizens’ administrative letters can be performed anytime and anywhere in real time. The service becomes far more responsive, time‑efficient, humane, and transparent.

From a technical implementation perspective, the activation process of both services is closely monitored to ensure that cyber information security standards are adequately met.” (Deni Nurdiansah)
