As Indonesia’s largest sharia bank, BSI is dedicated to continuously expanding public access to safe, user‑friendly sharia‑compliant financial services.

“By collaborating with OJK, FKIJK, and the Aceh Government, we hope people will not only learn how to manage money wisely but also become more familiar with various sharia financial products and services that can support economic activity and enhance well‑being,” said Imsak.

Meanwhile, OJK Aceh Head Daddi Peryoga stressed that the National Smart Finance Movement (GENCARKAN) is a joint effort to create a society that is smarter about money management, capable of making sound financial decisions, and able to avoid financial and illegal investment risks.

The Aceh Government, represented by the Head of the Economic Bureau, Zaini, S.Sos., M.M., expressed appreciation for the synergy among government, regulators, and the financial services industry in elevating the financial literacy level of the population. He believes that better public understanding of formal financial services, especially sharia finance, will positively contribute to strengthening the regional economy.

Through partnership between government, regulators, and the financial services industry, the GENCARKAN Financial Literacy & Inclusion activity is expected to raise public awareness of prudent money management, encourage use of formal financial services, and reinforce the sharia finance ecosystem. This initiative is hoped to become a driver of inclusive, sustainable economic growth in Aceh that benefits all community segments.[]
