Thecuy.com – Aprilia has launched the Aprilia RS 660 Phillip Island Tribute, a limited‑edition model unveiled during the 2026 Australian MotoGP. This mid‑segment sport bike pays homage to Phillip Island Circuit, a venue that has been a key part of the MotoGP calendar for nearly three decades.
Aprilia labels the bike a numbered edition and will display it at EICMA Milan from 5‑8 November in Hall 9. This special release also marks the farewell of Phillip Island to the MotoGP schedule after almost thirty years.
At Phillip Island, Aprilia Racing has amassed ten victories across different classes of the World Grand Prix Championship. The Italian marque also boasts a strong record in WorldSBK with the RSV4. Moreover, a 2025 MotoGP win by Raul Fernandez on the RS‑GP is said to bring Aprilia’s historic tally to 300 Grand Prix victories.

The Aprilia RS 660 Phillip Island Tribute features a number of exclusive design cues. A white base coat is paired with green accents on the side fairings and tail, while the rims are painted red in tribute to the circuit’s branding.
The side panels display the circuit logo and a layout line, complete with the inscription “Phillip Island Circuit” and a finish‑line flag. The fuel tank area also carries a special emblem noting Aprilia’s total victories at the venue. The production sequence number is engraved on the triple clamp, and a rear seat cover is included as standard equipment to give the bike a monoposto look.

Technically, the model continues to use the Aprilia RS 660 platform. It incorporates a 660 cc parallel‑twin, 8‑valve, liquid‑cooled engine delivering 105 bhp at 10 400 rpm and a peak torque of 70 Nm at 8 400 rpm. Aprilia also offers a 35 kW version.
The chassis features an aluminium twin‑spar frame that uses the engine as a load‑bearing component. Aprilia positions this model as a lightweight, agile motorcycle equipped with the brand’s signature aPRC electronic package.
