The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects Franchise Overview
Fuurou posted The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects (Ryoumin 0-nin Start no Henkyou Ryoushu-sama) on the user‑generated website, Shosetsuka ni Naro, in January 2018. Earth Star Entertainment acquired the web novel that November, publishing it as a light novel with art by Kinta; it now spans 15 volumes. Studio 42 later turned the story into an anime series.
Yumbo transformed the light novel into a manga, which started serialization in Comic Earth Star as of December 2028. J‑Novel Club released English editions of both the light novel and the manga. The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects follows the celebrated soldier Dias.
Crunchyroll is simulcasting The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects.
