A Wild Last Boss Appeared has unveiled its Season 2 trailer, confirming the anime’s return in October 2026. The fresh preview also showcases the opening theme performed by Suspended 4th and reveals additional cast members. The follow‑up series was announced right after the finale of its first season.
The theme song titled “Melodic Impact” is performed by Japanese rock act Suspended 4th. The second season adds seven new cast members:

- Takahiro Sakurai plays Castor
- Shinpachi Tsuji plays Mizar
- Momoko Seto plays Libra
- Yuichiro Umehara plays Terra

A manga version by Tsubasa Hazuki started on Earth Star Entertainment’s Comic Earth Star online platform in June 2017 and continues to run. J‑Novel Club secured English rights for both the light novel and the manga. Overall sales have exceeded 1.7 million copies.
