TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – The dispute over parking management in Tasikmalaya City shows no sign of resolution.
Amid allegations of illegal levies involving some officials on the ground, the Tasikmalaya City DPRD tightens oversight.
Commission II of the DPRD insists there must be no new “chain” that cuts off retribution payments before they reach the regional treasury.

Because if this is true, what is leaked is not only parking money but also public trust in the management of Original Regional Revenue (PAD).
Member of Commission II of the Tasikmalaya City DPRD, H Nurul Awalin, said that cooperation in parking management with third parties is essentially permitted.
However, according to this Golkar Party politician, the cooperation must have clear rules and be able to increase regional revenue, not the opposite.
“You may cooperate with any party, provided there are rules of the game. Most importantly, the cooperation must serve as a strengthening to achieve PAD targets,” he told Radar Tasikmalaya on Monday (13/7/2026).
He warned that the presence of third parties should not cause parking retribution targets to decline. In his view, the cooperation scheme must add value to regional revenue while also improving services to the community.
“We don’t want the target to go down or not be met after cooperating,” he stressed.
Nurul also responded to information about alleged deductions from parking collections before the money was handed over to third parties. In his opinion, such practices must not occur because they deviate from the proper mechanism.

“It’s not allowed. The flow must be clear. From parking attendant to third party, then third party to Dishub. There should be no one cutting in the middle. Then what’s the function of the third party?” he said.
Even though the issue is circulating on the ground, Commission II admitted they have not received any official report regarding the alleged illegal levy.
“There is still no report in,” he said.
Another concern of the DPRD is that, up to mid-year, Dishub has never officially presented the parking cooperation scheme to Commission II.
After all, according to Nurul, the council needs to know who the partners are managing the parking, the locations being managed, and the revenue targets for each area.
