TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – City revenue funds from the Building Approval (PBG) and Certificate of Occupational Function (SLF) sectors in Tasikmalaya are beginning to near the target.
As of September 2026, revenue collection from these two services has reached approximately Rp3.2 billion, or 88.25 percent of the annual target of Rp3.7 billion.
This achievement provides the Tasikmalaya Public Works and Spatial Planning Service (PUTR) with a foundation to complete the remaining target by year‑end.

Nevertheless, homework remains, especially in simplifying services for the public who are not yet fully familiar with the digital application system.
The Head of Building Regulations and Construction Services at the Tasikmalaya PUTR Office, Leli Yulita, said that, based on data up to September, the technical department’s processing has reached 340 PBG and SLF services.
“The collected fees we have recorded amount to about Rp3.2 billion, or 88.25 percent. Hopefully, the target of Rp3.7 billion can be achieved at 100 percent,” he said.
According to him, one of the challenges in PBG and SLF services is the use of the Building Information Management System application (SIMBG).
Not all applicants yet understand the submission mechanism through that platform.
This situation makes assistance from officers an essential part of the service.
Because, the ideal digitalization of licensing is not merely moving the service desk to a computer screen, but also ensuring that the public can access it without confusion.
“We provide a lot of service and assist the public in the PBG and SLF process, because not all of them yet understand the SIMBG application,” he explained.

Leli hopes that the remaining time until the end of the year can be used to optimize services while making up for a shortfall in revenue collection of about Rp500 million.
With an achievement already nearing 90 percent, the target is not too far off.
However, consistency in service remains key so that the region’s revenue potential is not held back merely by technical issues related to application use. (rezza rizaldi)
