Thecuy.com – The Citarum River Basin Office (BBWS) is a Type A technical executing unit under the Directorate General of Water Resources, Ministry of Public Works. Located in Bandung, the office oversees the Citarum River Basin in West Java Province. According to its organizational regulations, BBWS is responsible for water resource management within the river basin, covering everything from planning patterns and water resource management plans to community empowerment in its management.

The operational area of BBWS Citarum plays a strategic role as a source of raw water, irrigation, industrial use, and recreation, featuring three major reservoirs along the Citarum River: Saguling, Cirata, and Jatiluhur. Moreover, there are approximately 179 ponds within the Citarum River Basin that are regularly maintained by the office. BBWS Citarum also actively participates in supporting the rehabilitation of the Citarum River Catchment Area together with local governments and various stakeholders.

Citing Instagram @pu_sda_citarum, BBWS Citarum is currently recruiting support staff for the positions of Field Supervisor and Drafter in the Groundwater Irrigation Network Development project. Both positions are open to graduates with a minimum of a S1 degree in Civil/Irrigation Engineering, including fresh graduates, with placements in West Bandung Regency, Sumedang, Cianjur, Sukabumi, and Indramayu for a two‑month work period. Applications are submitted online from 7 to 9 November 2026, followed by administrative selection on 9 November, interview testing on 10 November, and announcement of results on 11 November 2026.

Kualifikasi:

• Minimum education S1 Civil/Irrigation Engineering.

• Have knowledge of groundwater irrigation network development.
• Experience as an inspector is an added value.
• Good ability to cooperate and communicate.
• Willing to be placed in West Bandung Regency, Sumedang Regency, Cianjur Regency, Sukabumi Regency, and Indramayu Regency.
• Own a private vehicle.

• Create 2D, 3D technical drawings and situation maps.
• Perform corrections and revisions to technical drawings according to instructions and field evaluation results.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work reports along with documentation.

• Proficient in operating AutoCAD software.
• Experience as a drafter is an added value.
• Capable of reading and creating technical drawings according to standards.
• Ability to work in a team and willing to revise drawings according to instructions.
• Willing to be placed in West Bandung Regency, Sumedang Regency, Cianjur Regency, Sukabumi Regency, and Indramayu Regency.
• Own a private vehicle.
