TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – The Tasikmalaya Regency Government accelerates the construction of a bridge connecting the Mangunreja Sports Facility (SOR) area with the Regency Government Complex. The project, crossing the Ciwulan River, requires a physical budget of Rp 25,37 miliar and is scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2026 at the latest.

The bridge construction, planned for a 70‑day calendar period, is expected to provide direct access between the sports area and the government center. Besides improving connectivity, this infrastructure also aims to make it easier for the public to move to both locations.

The Head of Roads and Bridges Division, who also serves as PPK for activities at the Tasikmalaya Regency DPUTRLH, Ir. Risnandar Nurdianto, ST, MT, conveyed via the Functional Officer for Roads and Bridges, Wildan Nuruzzaman, A.Md., that the construction is financed through the General Allocation Fund (DAU) from the Revised 2026 APBD of Tasikmalaya Regency.

“The contract value for the bridge’s physical construction amounts to Rp 25.372.623.683. The funding comes from the Revised 2026 APBD General Allocation Fund of Tasikmalaya Regency,” he said on Wednesday (4/11/2026).

Wildan clarified that the bridge has a total length of 87 meters with a vehicle pavement width of 7.5 meters. The construction also includes two access road packages, each measuring 84 meters and 319 meters in length, with a width of 7.5 meters.

For the access road to the SOR area, the contract value reaches Rp 3,804 miliar. Meanwhile, the access to the government complex is allocated Rp 1,268 miliar.

Thus, the total value of the three bridge and access road construction packages amounts to approximately Rp 30,44 miliar, excluding the two supervision service packages.

Wildan emphasized that all work is scheduled to be completed within one fiscal year, namely 2026. Therefore, the project does not use a multi‑year scheme because the bridge and both approach roads are already included in this year’s work scope.

In terms of construction, the bridge uses a precast prestressed concrete girder structure of the PCI or I‑girder type. The structure consists of three spans measuring 15.60 meters, 20.60 meters, and 45.80 meters respectively.

The substructure employs concrete abutments and reinforced concrete pillars with a drilled shaft foundation of three meters in diameter. Meanwhile, the bridge deck uses precast panels reinforced with reinforced concrete.
