Cosplay gatherings are frequently linked to bustling exhibition spaces, throngs of attendees, and the lively vibe of a full house. In contrast, a luxury five‑star hotel setting offers a more polished environment where imagination meets opulence. This past weekend, Cosplay.ph organized CosMeet 2026 “Shimmering Sapphire”, a two‑day anime and cosplay celebration held at Okada Manila in Parañaque City, Philippines.
In its fourth edition, CosMeet 2026 returned to Cove Manila, showcasing its striking glass dome structure. Lofty ceilings, abundant natural light, and a pleasant atmosphere created an ideal gathering spot for fans of fandom and pop culture. This iteration expanded the available area and introduced fresh, upscale installations that felt both elegant and contemporary. While there were special guests, stage contests, and various activities, the real draw was the presence of over 130 vendors, offering ample opportunities for shopping and discovering rare items!
The 2026 edition radiated energetic excitement. It featured the most vibrant stage performance we have seen so far, along with an extremely crowded expo floor. Despite being free, the atmosphere at CosMeet 2026 in Okada turned the event into a truly remarkable experience, with excellent photo opportunities. Naturally, the main attraction was the cosplayers, who confidently displayed their outfits from the Cove Manila to the Crystal Pavilion.
