Through the 2026‑2029 management term, which was officially installed at Hotel Santika Tasikmalaya on Saturday (24/10/2026), IKPI promotes broader access to tax consultation and education for the public.
The installation was attended by IKPI Chairperson Vaudy Starwold, Head of KPP Pratama Tasikmalaya Heri Widiyanto, and Acting Regional Assistant III of Tasikmalaya City Maman R Setiadi, representing Mayor Viman Alfarizi Ramadhan, along with other invitees.
The establishment of this branch is not merely an addition to the organizational structure. More than that, IKPI aims to bring tax consultation services closer to taxpayers, especially the community and business owners who still struggle to find assistance when facing tax issues.
Chairman of IKPI Tasikmalaya City Branch, Darwin Effendi, said that the presence of regional management is expected to make it easier for the public to access tax information and consultations.
“The public sometimes does not know where tax consultants are located. With the new branch, it will be easier,” said Darwin.
Currently, about 20 tax consultants are members of IKPI Tasikmalaya City Branch.
They are expected to become a key reference for the public in understanding tax obligations, obtaining explanations of applicable regulations, and finding solutions to tax administrative issues.

This collaboration is expected to facilitate the dissemination of information on the latest tax regulations, both to consultants and to the general public.
Darwin said that having a separate branch makes coordination with the tax office easier.
