Thecuy.com – Pagaralam Police continue to support food resilience through guidance and monitoring of community farming activities. On Friday, October 23, 2026, monitoring took place in North Dempo Subdistrict, Pagaralam City, inspecting residents’ corn and chili fields.

It was overseen by the Police Food Resilience Mobilizer, Aiptu Dini Susmanto, who visited in person to assess the condition of the residents’ farmland. One inspected plot spans about 0.5 hectares and is cultivated with feed corn.

The check was performed to evaluate plant health and to urge the community to keep making the most of existing farmland. Moreover, the effort also functions as a way to enhance communication between law enforcement and locals.

Pagaralam Police Chief, AKBP Adam Purbantoro, S.H., S.I.K., M.Si., said that backing food resilience forms part of the Police’s dedication to aiding community welfare enhancement.

“Our presence is not limited to security maintenance; we also aim to help the community unlock agricultural potential. We anticipate that productive land utilization will yield real advantages for residents and bolster food security,” the chief remarked.

At the same time, Pagaralam Police Public Relations Officer Iptu Adu Candra, S.H., observed that tracking farmland reflects a joint effort between law enforcement and locals to advance the food security initiative.

“Our aim is that residents become more driven to make the best use of farmland. Through persistent partnership and support, Pagaralam’s agriculture can keep progressing and serve the community’s interests,” he continued.
