In carrying out its role, BP Batam manages various strategic sectors, ranging from licensing and investment promotion, land management, to the provision of infrastructure such as seaports, airports, roads, and water and utility systems. With its strategic location on international shipping routes and proximity to Singapore and Malaysia, Batam continues to be promoted as a competitive hub for industry, logistics, and trade. • Never sentenced to imprisonment or detention based on a court decision that has permanent legal force;
