Bank ini bergerak di bidang perbankan komersial, dengan fokus layanan utama bagi Pemerintah Daerah Sulawesi Selatan dan Sulawesi Barat beserta para pegawainya. Sebagai Badan Usaha Milik Daerah, sahamnya dimiliki oleh Pemerintah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, Pemerintah Provinsi Sulawesi Barat, serta pemerintah kota dan kabupaten di kedua provinsi tersebut. Kantor pusatnya berada di Makassar, dan Bank Sulselbar melayani nasabah melalui layanan konvensional maupun unit syariah yang beroperasi berdasarkan prinsip bagi hasil.

Eligibility Criteria
- Indonesian citizen, physically and mentally healthy.
- Good moral character and never/has never committed a criminal offense (proved by a Police Record Certificate or SKCK issued by an official Police Institution).
- Never dismissed unhonorably as a civil servant or private employee.
- Minimum qualification is a bachelor’s degree (S1) from a reputable State University (PTN) or Private University (PTS) with good accreditation (A), proved by a diploma or Graduation Certificate validated by the respective university for all study fields.
- GPA minimum of 3.50 for S1 and S2 levels.
- Preferred educational background in the following fields:
- Banking/Islamic Banking;
- Economics;
- Agriculture;
- Animal Husbandry;
- Taxation;
- Law;
- Computer Science/Information Technology Engineering;
- Engineering; and
- Psychology.
- Not pregnant at the time of registration.
- Applicants with work experience must attach a recommendation letter from their previous employer.
- Maximum applicant age is 27 years as of 12 October 2026.
- Preferred to have a TOEFL certificate with a minimum score of 500 or TPA with a minimum score of 500.
- Willing to sign a civil service contract for 3 (three) years.
- Does not have parents, children, siblings, and/or step‑siblings who work at PT Bank Sulselbar. However, children of active employees may apply if the parent has entered the Retirement Preparation Period (MPP) or one year before retirement age. This is accompanied by a statement confirming that the applicant has no blood relation or half‑blood/step relation with the management and employees of Bank Sulselbar.
- Not currently holding an online loan and not having a credit facility with a collectibility of 3 (less favorable) or higher (proved by SLIK officially issued by OJK: https://idebku.ojk.go.id).
- Willing to be placed in all work areas of Bank Sulselbar.
