TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – The Malam Bina Iman dan Taqwa (Mabit) program at SD Islam Al Jamal Pamijahan has officially drawn to a close. The finale of this two‑day, one‑night gathering was held in the school’s courtyard, situated in Sukarindik sub‑district, Bungursari district, on Friday, 2 October 2026.

The Mabit was attended by students from grades 4 to 6 who were part of the Pramuka Penggalang group. Throughout the program, participants not only learned scouting material but also underwent religious activities and independence‑building exercises.

Uen, A.Ma, S.Pd.I, M.Pd, principal of SD Islam Al Jamal and its Mabigus Pangkalan, said that Mabit is an annual school routine for shaping students’ character.

Regarding the RSUD Dewas issue, Heri Ahmadi said the Sekda indicated it could be done, while Asep MP advised checking with BKPSDM.

“We conduct this activity regularly each year to shape students’ character. We aim for children to be not only intelligent but also to have strong faith,” he said.

According to Uen, the program was presented using a modern scouting concept. In addition to scouting activities, students were guided to reinforce religious values through various events.

“We implement a modern scouting approach, emphasizing religious activities. This is essential for instilling spiritual values in children from an early age,” he said.

He hopes that the experience gained during Mabit can be applied by students in their daily lives, especially in developing self‑discipline, respecting parents and teachers, and enhancing devotion in worship.

“We hope that after participating in Mabit, students will apply the knowledge and experiences they have acquired. To become more independent, more respectful towards parents and teachers, and more diligent in worship,” he added.

Meanwhile, a participant named Tsaqib Abidzar expressed his happiness in taking part in the Mabit series. For him, the activity offered a different experience as students learned to carry out tasks more independently and interact more closely with peers.
