TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – A joint task force composed of TNI, Polri, Public Order Agency, Social Services, and the West Java Provincial Kesbangpol carried out a raid to protect public safety and order within the jurisdiction of Tasikmalaya City Police.
The operation targeted various activities considered disruptive to public order, including unauthorized parking attendants, debt collectors (DC), criminality, street performers, and pak ogah.
The Chief of Operations at Tasikmalaya City Police, Kompol Rusdianto, reported that during the sweep a total of 49 individuals were apprehended across several raid locations.
Regarding the RSUD Supervisory Board, Heri Ahmadi claims the Secretary permitted it, while Asep MP suggests checking BKPSDM.
“The detainees consisted of 27 parking offenders, 14 debt collectors, seven street performers or suspected public space offenders, and one extra performer,” Rusdianto said.
In addition to arrests, officers also seized dozens of bottles of alcoholic drinks (miras). Furthermore, eight motorcycles linked to debt collection and criminal activities were confiscated.
The operation was executed across multiple areas, including Manonjaya, Ciawi, Kawalu, the Dadaha district, and several spots in downtown Tasikmalaya City.
Rusdianto stated that the initiative forms part of broader measures to maintain public security and order while curbing actions that could disturb communal spaces.
“Tasikmalaya City Police were merely supporting the West Java Police in this operation,” he remarked.
Authorities also conducted registration and treatment of those apprehended, adhering to the regulations and authority of each agency.
“After registration, they were counseled and received guidance,” he added.
The collaborative raid is expected to enhance community safety and improve order in neighborhoods that serve as focal points for residents’ activities. (Ujang Nandar)
