TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – The combined team, comprising TNI, Polri, Satpol PP, the Social Service, and the Provincial Kesbangpol of West Java, conducted an operation aimed at maintaining public security and order within the jurisdiction of the Tasikmalaya City Police.
The operation targeted various activities considered disruptive to public order, including illegal parking attendants, debt collectors, thuggery, street performers, and park valets.
The Chief of Operations of Tasikmalaya City Police, Kompol Rusdianto, stated that during the operation, a total of 49 individuals were apprehended at multiple raid locations.

According to Rusdianto, the detainees included 27 individuals linked to parking, 14 debt collectors, seven street performers or suspected street activity offenders, and one additional performer.
In addition to arresting several individuals, the officers also confiscated dozens of bottles of illegal alcohol. They further seized eight motorcycles believed to be connected to debt collection and criminal activities.
The operation took place across multiple areas, such as Manonjaya, Ciawi, Kawalu, the Dadaha district, and several points in downtown Tasikmalaya.
Rusdianto explained that the operation was part of efforts to maintain public security and order while curbing activities that could cause disturbances in public spaces.
“The Tasikmalaya City Police were merely supporting the West Java Provincial Police in carrying out this operation,” he said.
Officers also conducted registration and handling of those apprehended, in accordance with the regulations and authority of each agency.
“After being registered, they were coached and given guidance,” he added.
The joint operation is expected to enhance public safety and improve order in several areas that serve as hubs of community activity. (Ujang Nandar)
