Here’s the plot outline for The First Royal Outing Arc:
Reirin and Keigetsu’s actions calm the curse‑driven chaos in the inner court. Their body swap lets each discover the other’s true nature, sparking a budding friendship.

As seasons turn to early autumn, the Harvest Festival—a rite where the Crown Prince and the Maidens pray for a plentiful yield—is held in the Shu clan’s southern territories. Without a consort to guard the event, Keigetsu struggles to manage the preparations under pressure, while Reirin eagerly backs her and relishes her first royal appearance.

But trouble strikes upon arrival: an unexpected mishap disrupts the ceremony. A frantic Keigetsu loses control of her spell, causing another body exchange with Reirin. In the ensuing turmoil, the Reirin now in Keigetsu’s body is kidnapped…!?

Reirin’s protective brothers, Kou Keikou and Kou Keishou, intervene, turning the tide in unforeseen ways. A mysterious new conspirator seems to be framing Keigetsu. The thrilling tale of swapped destinies, told through two contrasting heroines, opens the second act—“The First Royal Outing” Arc!

While the maidens of the Five Clans vie for the Crown Prince’s affection, the jealous Keigetsu resorts to dark magic to exchange bodies with the beloved Reirin. The swap brings no joy to Keigetsu, whose new body is frail and hangs on the brink of death. Reirin, now clad as a despised outcast, must face a perilous trial to atone for Keigetsu’s crimes.
