Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Anime Reveals Seventh Opening Featuring “Funny Sunny Day” by SxOxU

Katekyo Hitman REBORN! The anime has just launched a creditless edition of its seventh opening theme, which showcases the track “Funny Sunny Day” performed by SxOxU. This song originally aired during episodes 154 through 177, and the fresh video release marks the series’ 20th anniversary.

This new drop follows yesterday’s debut of the twelfth ending theme, “Aoi Yume” by Mori Tsubasa. Both releases are part of the “REBORN! MUSIC MONTH” initiative, a month‑long September series of music celebrations for the anime’s 20th birthday. As noted earlier, the ongoing campaign will roll out creditless versions of past theme sequences each day on the official YouTube channel.

These creditless clips, which were previously only bundled with physical anime releases, are now being offered for the first time on the web. You can view the newest addition just below.

The overall effort kicked off on September 1 with an official 25‑track playlist that includes opening themes, ending themes, and assorted background music from the television series.

Akira Amano’s manga debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in May 2004 and concluded in November 2012, ending with 42 tankōbon volumes. The work also spawned an anime series produced by Studio Artland, which aired for 203 episodes from October 7, 2006 through September 25, 2010.
