Firefly Wedding the TV anime just dropped its main trailer, highlighted by the theme tune “Period,” a brand‑new track penned by iri for the show. The series already announced a launch on October 9th, plus a fresh key visual. Crunchyroll has secured streaming rights and will host an exclusive early screening at their Anime Nights event slated for September 21.
The starring voice talents of the anime are:
- Lynn portrays Satoko Kirigaya
- Koki Uchiyama portrays Shinpei Goto
- Kento Ito portrays Kotaro Ogawa
- Kenjiro Tsuda portrays Mitsueda
Takahiro Kamei is steering the direction of the series at david production studio (Fire Force). Yuko Kakihara oversees the series composition and screenplay, while Yukiko Aikei serves as character designer. The music is crafted by NOGRID. Oreco Tachibana’s creator‑original manga appears on Shogakukan’s MangaONE platform. The work has already printed over 4.5 million copies, with a dozen volumes currently in print. It also claimed the 2024 Digital Comic Award last year. The narrative centers on Satoko, a high‑born girl informed she has limited time left. She aspires to wed into a distinguished household to honor her father, yet her world is turned upside down when she is abducted.
In a desperate predicament, Satoko teams up with the assassin Shinpei and deceitfully asks him to marry her, guaranteeing him everything in exchange for their union. To her surprise, Shinpei accepts the marriage proposal wholeheartedly, dedicating himself to Satoko as she wrestles with duty and her burgeoning affection for him.
