Yen Press holds the English licensing for both the Sasaki and Peeps light novel and manga, and Crunchyroll streams the anime adaptation. Crunchyroll’s synopsis: Sasaki, a middle‑aged office employee in Japan, feels worn down by the bland corporate routine. Seeking a new companion, he visits a pet shop and comes across a cute bird named Peeps, whom he brings home. He soon discovers Peeps is no ordinary avian—he’s a powerful mage from another realm! The two journey on a magical quest brimming with swords and sorcery.
