Kagurabachi Book 12 hit stores in Japan, accompanied by two fresh promos celebrating the new release. The manga also unveiled the tally from its global fan vote for standout panels, totalling 45,286 selections.
The two promotional clips for Volume 12 spotlight distinct characters: Chihiro Rokuhira and Seiichi Samura. Chihiro’s trailer uses the tagline “The Mission of the Seventh Enchanted Blade,” whereas Samura’s is billed as “The Future That Must Be Seen.”
Concurrent with the Volume 12 push, the voting outcomes for the Kagurabachi Memorable Page Contest have been made public. International readers contributed a combined 45,286 votes to pick their top manga panels.
After the poll closed, a bespoke wallpaper showcasing the overall winner’s page was issued to fans.
Kagurabachi, created by Takeru Hokazono, runs in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. The long‑awaited anime series is scheduled to launch in April 2027, with Crunchyroll handling global distribution (excluding Japan, Mainland China, North Korea, and South Korea).
Studio Cypic oversees the animated production, led by director Tetsuya Takeuchi, celebrated for directing the Rock Lee vs Gaara battle in Naruto. In a prior interview, CyberAgent’s Takahiro Yamauchi discussed the firm’s ambition to produce “high-quality Japanese animation works that can be accepted globally.”
