Bandai Namco has posted the second trailer for DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3, showcasing the game’s character creation system ahead of its scheduled 2027 release. The news was shared during PlayStation’s State of Play on September 3.
Named “Fight Your Own Way,” the trailer showcases the six selectable species for a personalized combatant: Earthling, Saiyan, Namekian, Frieza Race, Majin and Android. The Android race is a fresh addition to XENOVERSE 3.
Users can tweak their combatant’s look, acquire moves from Super Fighters, and pick a battle style inspired by the motions and powers of 130 heroes. Bandai Namco says these options will shape players’ tactics and character progression throughout the title.
Gamers control a cloaked protagonist who materializes in AGE 1000 from a different time, lacking any recollection of their history. Upon reaching the advanced era, the hero joins a fresh cadre of protectors devoted to safeguarding tranquility while juggling student life at West City University.
The follow‑up had been hinted at under the codename “Age 1000” and represents the series’ first new entry in more than ten years, after Xenoverse 2 launched in 2016. It continues the Xenoverse line, letting participants craft their avatar and dive into a fresh narrative inside the Dragon Ball world. The title’s existence was essentially leaked when it appeared under a Xenoverse entry on Bandai’s YouTube channel last February.
