BANJAR, Thecuy.com – The Social Service for Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (DinsosP3A) of Banjar City stepped in to assist two residents who were ill and in need of help.

The head of Banjar City’s DinsosP3A, Hani Supartini AKs, stated that the initial health assessment indicated the two residents of Cimenyan Neighborhood were safe.

“We carried out an assessment and inspection at their residence this morning, performed by a social worker,” she said on Friday, August 28, 2026.

PGRI Banjar City reminds teachers not to fall into illegal loans and gambling; pushing for the Pamegatan‑Singajaya road in Garut to become a provincial road.

Regarding this, the individual’s National Health Insurance (JKN) coverage remains active. Therefore, further medical referrals can be made.

They coordinated with Banjar III Community Health Center about the matter. The two residents, Titi Supiati (75) and Andi Siswanto (48), need to be promptly transferred to Margono Hospital in Purwokerto.

In addition, they will coordinate with Baznas Banjar City to quickly address urgent needs and fulfill daily requirements.

“We are currently submitting data adjustments and proposals for additional social assistance to the Ministry of Social Affairs via Balai Phalamartha for other support,” she said.

Meanwhile, concerning the suspected surge in decile levels that may hinder the process, they will re-verify the data on site.

“If they feel the data is inaccurate, they should submit updated information through the village or sub‑district offices. Later, Dinsos will forward it to the Ministry of Social Affairs and BPS will process the ranking,” she said.

Previously, Titi Supiati (75) and Andi Siswanto (48), residents of Cimenyan II Neighborhood RT 03 RW 08, Mekarsari Village, Banjar District, were confined to their beds due to illness.

The New Market area in Garut will be renovated, with street vendors temporarily relocated; street lighting is out, making RTA Prawira Adiningrat Tasikmalaya route deemed accident‑prone.

Sri Rahayu, a relative of Titi and Andi, said she could not bear to see her family’s distressing situation.

“The two have been in this condition for a long time, residing in a rented house where her child works as a foreign domestic worker,” she said on Monday, August 24, 2026.

What’s heartbreaking is that Andi Siswanto had to endure disappointment and received no assistance because he falls within decile 6‑10. (Anto Sugiarto)
