The forthcoming Necromancer Isekai: How I Went from Abandoned Villager to the Emperor’s Favorite anime unveiled a fresh key visual and announced a 2027 launch. Worldwide streaming is slated for that same year, and the project was originally disclosed in October 2023.

Necromancer Isekai: How I Went from Abandoned Villager to the Emperor’s Favorite (Mukuware Nakatta Murabito A, Kizoku ni Hirowarete Dekiai Sareru Ue ni, Jitsu wa Motteita Densetsu-kyu no Kami Skill mo Kakusei Shita) constitutes a Japanese light novel series authored by Nazuna Miki and illustrated by Kaito Shibano. Miki additionally penned My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1.
The series launched on the Shosetsuka ni Naro site in May 2020 and was subsequently picked up by Shueisha, who has issued 8 volumes in the Dash X Bunko line up to June 2025. A manga version, drawn by Suzume Kumo, debuted on Shueisha’s Dash X Comic area of the Niconico Seiga portal in December 2022, and three volumes have been released so far as of May 2025.
