A fresh Attack on Titan themed café will launch in Tokyo, Japan from September 3 to October 12, 2026, showcasing newly drawn illustrations by WIT Studio, specialty menu items and exclusive merchandise. This is the project that the studio had previously teased.
Titled Attack on Titan Café: Adolescence Dinner, the collaboration focuses on the cast navigating “that kind of phase,” a reference to teenage or chunibyo-style behavior. The fresh artwork by WIT Studio, which animated Seasons 1 through 3 of Attack on Titan, is built around a “Last Supper” motif before battle.
Featured characters include Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, Hange Zoe, Levi Ackerman and Erwin Smith. The cafe’s menu offers character‑inspired pita sandwiches, sweets and drinks, plus plates that echo iconic scenes and visuals from the series.
Limited‑edition merchandise based on the fresh illustrations will be on sale as well, including randomized acrylic keychains and miniature acrylic figures across six designs, plus full collector’s sets.
The pop‑up will operate at BOX cafe&space Lumine Est Shinjuku 2 in Tokyo from September 3 to October 12. Booking opened today via the official café website.
Hajime Isayama penned and illustrated the Attack on Titan manga, which appeared in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine between September 2009 and April 2021. Its chapters were gathered into 34 volumes. The televised series was produced by WIT Studio for its first three seasons before MAPPA assumed production. In total the anime spanned 94 episodes, with episodes 88‑94 released as the two Final Chapters specials.
The collection of Final Chapters was turned into the THE LAST ATTACK film, featuring upgraded picture and audio. It opened in Japan on November 8 to largely favorable reviews and included a fresh post‑credit scene. Box‑office receipts passed the 1 billion‑yen mark on December 5, and global releases began in early 2025. Crunchyroll started streaming the movie on April 17, 2025.
Producer Tetsuya Kinoshita has recently hinted at fresh anime endeavors, mentioning upcoming movies and partner events. Additionally, the franchise received a special illustration from MAPPA to mark the studio’s 15th anniversary, and new animated content for the forthcoming Attack on Titan 3 video game was announced.
