HELL MODE: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing Season 2 unveiled a fresh visual for the Rosenheim Arc. The series is still airing, streaming exclusively on HIDIVE. Its latest story arc launched with Episode 7 (which counts as Episode 19 overall) today.

The series is helmed by director Makoto Tamagawa, with Daishiro Tanimura handling series composition and Kei Tsushima providing character designs. Animation production is carried out by Yokohama Animation Lab.
The principal voice actors in the series are:

- Tasuku Hatanaka as Dogora
- Sayaka Senbongi as Cecil

Thirty-five-year-old Kenichi Yamada has dedicated his life to playing every MMORPG he can find. Frustrated by games that cater to casual players, he eagerly opts to try a never‑ending title with a brutal “Hell Mode” that skyrockets the challenge (and the potential for leveling up) to extreme levels. As soon as he chooses the “Summoner” class, Kenichi is whisked into the game’s world and is reborn as a baby named Allen, born into a family of serfs. Armed only with his memories and quick thinking, Allen sets out to beat Hell Mode, uncover the mysteries of the Summoner class, and rescue his new family from their lowly destiny.
The light novel series Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing (Heru Modo: Yarikomizuki no Gema wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Muso Suru) is written by Hamuo and illustrated by Mo. It began serialization in November 2019 on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. After being acquired by Earth Star Entertainment, it started being printed in July 2020. A manga adaptation illustrated by Enji Tetta also exists.
