Thecuy.com reports that alleged irregularities in the financial administration of Sukasari Village‑Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in Puspahiang District have entered a new phase. On Thursday (30/7/2026), citizens’ representatives from Suara Masyarakat Sukasari (SMS) convened a meeting with the Sukasari Village Government, the Puspahiang sub‑district head, the Puspahiang police chief, and the management and supervisory board of BUMDes Sukasari at the village hall.
The meeting uncovered a series of suspected irregularities in the handling of BUMDes funds. It was confirmed that the Sukasari Village Government transferred Rp 226 million from the village account to the BUMDes account to support various village activities and programs.
However, after reviewing the BUMDes management’s accountability report and its detailed budget, residents together with government officials and the police identified several anomalies that require further official investigation.

Coordinator of Suara Masyarakat Sukasari (SMS), Diki Gungun, said that the preliminary findings presented in the meeting revealed several inconsistencies.
“For instance, the procurement record mentions buying six wooden posts for Rp 12 million, yet the manager of the quail farm noted at the meeting that no such posts were delivered,” said Diki.
In addition, there is an alleged discrepancy in the construction budget. The renovation of two livestock cages was budgeted at Rp 15.7 million in the Cost Estimation Plan (RAB), but the workers involved in the project claimed to have received only around Rp 6 million, resulting in a budget gap of nearly Rp 9 million whose use remains unexplained to this day.
Other findings involve alleged procurement of goods that do not match specifications. The construction of a water reservoir was originally planned with a capacity of 550 liters, but only a 250‑liter unit was installed on site. Residents also deemed that a number of other tasks did not conform to the specifications or planning.
Diki also highlighted the lack of clarity in BUMDes financial management. In his view, the management has not been able to provide a detailed, transparent, and accountable explanation regarding the use of funds.
“The residents’ questions about cash flow, the management of the quail farming business, the purchase of around 7,000 quail seeds without market analysis or price comparison (resulting in purchases above market price), maintenance costs, feed purchases, and sales results could not be answered clearly,” he explained.
