BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) Part 4 The Calamity has been confirmed by Hulu to consist of ten episodes. The streaming platform announced the episode total on X. The series begins today, July 25, after its initial three episodes received an early theatrical run in the United States.
The season’s opener is titled “GOD OF THUNDER,” with its preview and production staff previously disclosed. You can watch the newest trailer further down.
Created by Tite Kubo, BLEACH was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016 and concluded with 74 volumes. The manga has sold over 130 million copies worldwide, placing it among the best‑selling series of all time.
The original anime adaptation aired from 2004 to 2012 and was accompanied by four theatrical films. The franchise returned in 2022 with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, adapting the manga’s final arc. Its concluding segment (Part 4) is scheduled for release this July, and Tite Kubo has confirmed it will contain even more original material than the preceding parts, expanding the series’ climactic battles. Kubo also stated that he personally auditioned and selected every theme song for BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War starting from the demo stage. “Throughout the series, I wanted to have as many newer artists as possible perform the themes. Part of my thinking was that I wanted viewers to discover these artists through Thousand-Year Blood War and then become fans of them afterward.”
On a related note, BLEACH: Mirrors High has just introduced its lead characters in a new trailer; the game features original character designs by Tite Kubo.
