TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – The government of Cisayong Subdistrict, Tasikmalaya Regency, held a village administration governance coaching session during the first semester of 2026. Its aim is to enhance village governance so that it becomes more professional, accountable, and focused on public service.
The four‑day event, held from Monday to Thursday (13–16 July 2026), was attended by village heads and their staffs from 13 villages in Cisayong Subdistrict. The coaching sessions were rotated among four venues to ensure all participants could fully engage with the materials.
During the coaching, the subdistrict authorities presented several key topics, such as strengthening staff discipline, village financial management, maximizing Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB‑P2) collection, maintaining orderly government administration, improving public service quality, and reinforcing the integrity of village officials.

The Camat of Cisayong, Sutaryo, stated that the activity is a regular coaching agenda to guarantee that village governance complies with applicable laws and regulations.
“The village administration coaching for the first semester of 2026 ran for four days, from 13 to 16 July 2026. The sessions were held across four locations, yet the participants consisted of village officials and heads from all 13 villages in Cisayong Subdistrict,” he said.
According to Sutaryo, discipline among village officials is the primary foundation for enhancing service quality to the community. Therefore, village staff must adhere to working hours and uniform regulations as an example in governance.
He emphasized the importance of work discipline among village government officials, both in observing working hours and wearing uniforms as stipulated.
“Discipline is the essential capital for improving the quality of service to the community,” he said.
Beyond discipline, village financial management is a crucial focus because of the sizable budgets handled through Village Fund (DD) and Village Allocation Fund (ADD). Every stage—from planning, implementation, record‑keeping, reporting to accountability—must be carried out in line with applicable regulations.
He stated that village financial management should be carried out in an orderly, transparent, and accountable manner to avoid future legal issues.
