Jakarta – A political analyst, Faizal Assegaf, lauded President Prabowo Subianto for his handling of three graft cases involving former Special Criminal Investigation Juvenile Prosecutor, Febrie Adriansyah. Faizal opined that the exposure of the cases has revived public morale.

“Public sentiment has surged and they have expressed appreciation to the President regarding the Febrie case,” Faizal stated when contacted on Sunday (12/7/2026).

He noted that the revelation of the case garnered a massive positive response from the public. The decisive actions taken by the government under Prabowo’s leadership, he claimed, have earned widespread commendation.

“This constitutes a historic and highly strategic step for the roadmap of law enforcement in the future,” he continued.

Faizal remarked that the exposure of the Febrie case marks a significant positive stride in law enforcement on a principled and fundamental level. “The President has received positive attention from the public,” Faizal remarked.

“Thus, this is a roadmap that strengthens the relationship between the people and the President, anchored by a resurgence of commitment to law enforcement,” he further observed.

He expressed hope that Prabowo and the people would unite and cooperate to propel the law enforcement process in the Febrie Adriansyah case, ensuring it does not halt midway.

On the same occasion, Faizal also praised the transfer of three graft cases from the Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortas Tipikor) to the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung). He believes that with this transfer, the integrity commitment of the Attorney General’s Office will truly be put to the test.

“That’s actually good, to test the Attorney General’s commitment, right? To avoid partiality. This is a moment for the Attorney General’s Office to uphold the rule of law objectively, without discrimination. Thus, the police’s move to hand over the case to the Attorney General’s Office should indeed be done that way,” he concluded.
