A. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1. The applicant must be an Indonesian citizen.
2. The maximum age is 40 years for doctoral‑level non‑permanent lecturers and 35 years for master’s‑level candidates as of 31 December 2026.
3. The candidate must have a good moral character and be physically and mentally healthy.
4. The applicant must not be dependent on narcotic substances, alcohol, psychotropic drugs, or other addictive substances.
5. The candidate must never have been sentenced to imprisonment based on a final court ruling and/or must not be currently under legal proceedings.
6. The applicant must never have been dismissed dishonourably as a civil servant, civil service candidate, state employee, police officer, military personnel, or employee of any institution.
7. The candidate must not hold a position as a civil servant, civil service candidate, state employee, police officer, or military personnel.
8. The applicant must not be bound by a service contract or compulsory work obligation with any state or private institution.
9. The candidate must not be a member or officer of a political party.
10. The applicant must not engage in practical politics.
11. The candidate must not be a supporter, member, or officer of any organisation prohibited in the Republic of Indonesia.
12. For master’s degree applicants:
    • They must hold a Master’s (S2) degree and a Bachelor’s (S1) degree in a field relevant to the position, obtained from a reputable foreign university or from an Indonesian university or study program accredited internationally/ excellence/A by a government‑recognised accreditation body at the time of graduation.
    • Their undergraduate GPA must be at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale (or equivalent) and their master’s GPA must be at least 3.25 on a 4.00 scale (or equivalent).
13. For doctoral degree applicants:
    • They must hold a Doctoral (S3) degree in a field relevant to the position, obtained from a reputable foreign university or from an Indonesian university or study program accredited internationally/ excellence/A by a government‑recognised accreditation body at the time of graduation.
    • Applicants who expect to complete their doctoral studies by 1 May 2027 may apply by submitting a graduation statement in the format provided by the committee.
    • Their undergraduate GPA must be at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale (or equivalent) and their master’s GPA must be at least 3.25 on a 4.00 scale (or equivalent).
14. The candidate must possess an ITB English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT) score of at least 77 or a TOEFL ITP score of at least 475 administered by ITB.
15. The applicant must have an official Academic Aptitude Test (TPA) certificate from UUO PT Bappenas with a minimum score of 475 that is still valid at the time of registration.
16. The candidate must meet the qualifications listed in the Formation and Qualification table below, which are not exhaustive and also include other related fields considering ITB’s multidisciplinary and multicampus programs.
17. Applicants with work experience relevant to the applied position are given priority.
18. The candidate must be willing to be placed at any of ITB’s multicampuses (Ganesha, Jatinangor, Cirebon, or Jakarta campuses).

C. REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

1. Submit a cover letter indicating the code of the position being applied for.
2. Provide a Curriculum Vitae (CV).
3. Attach a scanned copy of the National Identity Card (KTP).
4. Include a recent passport‑size photograph (4×6 cm).
5. Write a personal statement (maximum one page) describing how past life experiences have shaped the candidate’s current achievements and how these aspects can contribute to realising ITB’s vision as a world‑class university. The statement may be written in Indonesian or English.

D. SELECTION PROCESS

F. GRADUATION

2. The cooperation period for S2 non‑permanent lecturers is one year, renewable for a maximum of one additional year based on performance evaluation by the work unit.
3. The cooperation period for S3 non‑permanent lecturers is one year, and may lead to appointment as a non‑permanent lecturer at ITB (non‑PNS) or renewal for a maximum of one year, based on performance evaluation by the work unit.
4. The decision of the Selection Committee for the 2026 Non‑Permanent Lecturer Recruitment at ITB is final and cannot be contested.

G. OTHER PROVISIONS

1. Applicants residing abroad may complete the process online, except for the interview and microteaching stages, which will be conducted offline.
2. Every applicant is required to comply with all stipulated regulations.
