Coco Uzuki’sacclaimed romance manga Fall in Love, You False Angels is set to debut as a TV anime in 2027. The story centers on Otogi Katsura, a high school student celebrated for her flawless appearance. She meticulously conceals her genuine self to uphold her polished image.

First serialized in Kodansha’s Dessert magazine in April 2023, the shojo title quickly gained popularity. It secured first place in the 49th Kodansha Manga Award for shoujo in 2025. Kodansha USA released the manga in English, highlighting its premise:
“A girl perceived as all sweetness and no edge…that’s the image Otogi Katsura, a class president and first-year student, projects. A single glance from the school’s ‘angelic heartthrob’ can captivate admirers instantly. Yet Otogi hides a cunning, sharp-tongued side. When her facade cracks before class rival Toki, he unexpectedly unveils his own hidden traits and labels her his ‘criminal partner.’ With love at her back, can the ‘angel’ sustain her perfect act, or will she fall for a fellow deceiver?”
