Leader of TWICE announced her official departure from JYP Entertainment after many years together. Moreover, Jihyo will soon begin a new chapter in her career by founding her own agency called EMITHAUS.

<p>Citing <em>Soompi</em> (October 21), Jihyo posted a handwritten letter announcing her split from JYP Entertainment on her personal Instagram page. </p>
“After 21 years, my journey with JYP Entertainment, which began when I was a child, has finally come to an end.” he said in the letter.

“Summarizing 21 years in a few words turned out to be much harder than I imagined. From childhood, adolescence to adulthood, I spent most of my life at JYP. There were beautiful days and difficult times, but one thing is certain: every moment has shaped the person I am now,” Jihyo added.
Jihyo also expressed gratitude to everyone at JYP who accompanied and helped her grow over the decades.
Jihyo Launches Her Own Agency Called EMITHAUS

Along with posting her farewell letter, Jihyo announced the creation of her own agency, EMITHAUS, and released several stunning new profile photos.
Jihyo said, “For me, this independence is not the end of the past, but a choice about how I will live in the future. As the first step in this new chapter, I have established my own agency, EMITHAUS.”

EMITHAUS derives its name from ‘EMIT,’ meaning to express or release something. Through this newly founded agency, Jihyo hopes to have a platform to freely explore herself and uncover previously unknown potential.
On the other hand, Jihyo confirmed that she remains a member of TWICE while continuing her solo activities with her newly established agency.
