Tensions rose when protesters tried to enter the terminal, leading to clashes with security forces.

After the terminal, the crowd continued to Gedung DPRD Kota Tasikmalaya.

At the location post-ashar prayer, similar incidents occurred as demonstrators attempted to enter the building, resulting in confrontations with police.

Later, DPRD Kotat Tasikmalaya Chairman Aslim, Deputy Chairman H Wahid, and Hilman Wiranata, along with members like Asep Endang and Enan Suherlan, met the crowd to hear their demands.

Encep Gunawan Ridwan, coordinator, stated the demonstration evaluates national policies affecting local communities.

He noted the alliance—HMI, PMII, KAMMI, IMM, Hima Persis, Tasikraya, Sapma Pemuda Pancasila—criticizes fuel price hikes, USD dollar strengthening, and national programs failing to meet Tasikmalaya’s needs.
