Thecuy.com – Kia Sales Indonesia continues to retain loyalty of older vehicle owners through after‑sales service, ensuring spare parts remain accessible for earlier generations of cars. In Bandung, the Kia Siloam Motor workshop still services Kia models that are decades old.
Harry Yanto, Vice President of Operations at Kia Sales Indonesia, said the service is crucial for maintaining consumer trust. He made the comment while attending the inauguration of Kia Paskal at 23 Paskal Hyper Square, Bandung, on Thursday (22/10/2026).
According to Harry, Kia customers in Bandung continue to show loyalty to the workshop they have been using for years. One supporting factor is Kia Siloam Motor’s capability to service older vehicles, including models that are more than two decades old.
“Indeed, Kia Siloam Motor is a dealer from a previous distributor; they were already repairing older vehicles before. Currently, there is one, which we could call a 3S, located on Jalan Soekarno‑Hatta,” Harry told KabarOto.
Kia Indonesia also affirmed that spare‑part support for older cars remains available, sourced from global supplies in South Korea as well as from the workshop’s own inventory. “Incidentally, our spare parts, sourced globally from Korea, and Siloam itself still has stock for older vehicles,” Harry explained.
Although Harry did not specify the types of components, the quantity of stock, or which older vehicle models are still serviced, he said the workshop continues to accept customers bringing Kia cars from the year 2000 for repairs. He also noted that a Carnival vehicle from 2000 is still being fixed there.
Meanwhile, Kia Sales Indonesia has just inaugurated Kia Paskal in Bandung under a City Store 1S concept that emphasizes vehicle sales. On the other hand, the service facility at the 3S Kia Siloam Motor dealer on Jalan Soekarno‑Hatta was still under construction at the time of the interview.
