Thecuy.com – Jakarta is feeling increasingly sweltering, with temperatures projected to be between 26 and 35 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the sky is overcast over the entire Jakarta area, but there is no indication that rain will occur.

Suhu dan Kelembapan

The lowest temperature was recorded in South Jakarta at 26 degrees Celsius, while the highest reached 35 degrees Celsius in East Jakarta. In Central Jakarta, temperatures are expected to range from 27 to 33 degrees Celsius with humidity levels between 53 and 81 percent.

Penyebab Cuaca Panas

BMKG’s Chief Secretary, Guswanto, said that the hot weather is caused by the ongoing dry season and the intensity of solar radiation. The lack of cloud cover allows more sunlight to reach the earth’s surface, raising temperatures, especially during the day.

Pengaruh Fenomena El Niño

The El Niño phenomenon also reduces rainfall in several areas, including Jakarta, making the dry season drier and potentially longer. The hot weather is expected to continue until the end of October 2026, influenced by the sun’s apparent position crossing Java Island and the current dry season conditions.

Imbauan untuk Warga

Based on the forecast, Jakarta’s temperature is expected to stay above 32 degrees Celsius until the end of the month, with rain chances beginning on October 24th though not uniformly each day. Residents are advised to maintain adequate hydration, use sun protection, and keep watching the latest weather updates from BMKG.
