BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War has unveiled a fresh “THE STORIES VISUAL – Final Battle” artwork after Episode 49, titled “THE BLADE,” hit screens. The anime’s fourth and final cour, named The Calamity, returned on July 25, though the last two episodes were put on hold to boost production quality.
The series consists of ten episodes in total, with episode nine now available. The season’s finale, episode 50, is slated for release on October 26.
The new visual can be viewed below.
Created by Tite Kubo, BLEACH ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016, finishing with 74 volumes. The manga has sold over 130 million copies worldwide, ranking it among the best‑selling series of all time.
The original anime aired from 2004 to 2012 and spawned four theatrical films. The franchise returned in 2022 with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, adapting the manga’s concluding arc. The final segment (Part 4) is due out in July, and Tite Kubo has confirmed it will feature even more original material than previous instalments, expanding the epic final battles.
Separately, BLEACH: Mirrors High introduced its main cast in a fresh trailer, showcasing character designs crafted exclusively by Tite Kubo.
