TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – The mystery surrounding the disappearance of Delis Lisnidilah (16), a teenager from Simpang Village, Bantarkalong District, Tasikmalaya Regency, has been solved. The first‑year vocational school (SMK) student was located at Tokyo PIK 2 Apartment in Tangerang, Banten, following an investigation conducted jointly by the Tasikmalaya Police and the Metro Jaya Police.

The Chief of Criminal Investigation Unit at Tasikmalaya Police, AKP Heru Samsul Bahri, confirmed that the victim has been located. Nonetheless, the victim’s present state prevents a comprehensive statement, so they still need support and psychological healing.

“Thank goodness, our team has found the victim in a Tangerang apartment,” Heru said on Monday (12/10/2026).

Following the discovery, the victim was immediately secured and placed in a safe house. The police also coordinated with child protection agencies to ensure the victim receives psychological support.

“The victim has been placed in a safe house and still needs psychological recovery treatment,” Heru said.

Previously, Delis was reported missing since Friday (2/10/2026) at around 20.00 WIB in Simpang Hamlet RT 08 RW 04, Simpang Village, Bantarkalong Subdistrict. At that time, the victim, who lived alone in a rental house, said she was going out to buy food but never returned.

“It is believed that the victim left the boarding house without informing her parents. After conducting a personal search, the family then reported the case to Bantarkalong Police Station,” Heru explained.

Considering that the victim is a minor, the Tasikmalaya Police subsequently conducted an investigation in collaboration with the Women and Children’s Protection Unit (PPA) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of Tasikmalaya Police.

The head of the Women and Children’s Protection Unit of the Criminal Investigation Unit of Tasikmalaya Police, Aiptu Josner Ringgo, stated that the investigation uncovered several issues that concerned the officers. Among them, it was discovered that the victim had recently purchased a mobile phone, while the device’s box was left behind at her rental residence.

The victim’s location was eventually traced after the police collaborated with the Metro Jaya Police. Nevertheless, officers had to conduct further investigation because the victim’s identity was believed to have been concealed while staying at the apartment.

The Tasikmalaya Regency KADIN Association’s deliberation will be repeated, scheduled for October 21, 2026; the once difficult area now stands as a symbol of hope, with OTL SPP Cineam Tasikmalaya hosting a thanksgiving event.

“We left after obtaining a clue about the victim’s whereabouts in Tangerang, but it wasn’t easy because the victim’s identity was concealed while staying in the apartment,” Ringgo said.

The joint team then traveled to Tangerang to conduct a search. Officers inspected various suspected locations where the victim might be, including densely populated residential areas and boarding houses near the apartment.
