PANGANDARAN, Thecuy.com – A 59‑year‑old donut seller identified only as Dir from Padaherang District, Pangandaran Regency, has been reported to the police for allegedly committing a sexual abuse crime against a six‑year‑old girl.
The alleged incident is said to have taken place on the side of the road near SDN 2 Ciganjeng, Pasar Hamlet, Ciganjeng Village, Padaherang District, on Wednesday, 16 September 2026, at around 18.00 WIB.
At the time, the victim was buying snacks near the scene when the suspected incident occurred. The victim’s biological mother subsequently filed a report with the Pangandaran Police on Thursday, 17 September 2026.

Pangandaran Police Chief AKBP Ikrar Potawari said that, based on information received by investigators, the suspect allegedly grabbed the victim’s hand before committing an act that suggests sexual abuse.
“Afterwards, the suspect is alleged to have inserted his finger into the victim’s genitals while moving it up and down,” Ikrar said on Friday, 9 October 2026.
According to him, medical examination results showed a reddish bruise on the victim’s genital area. The examination also found a tear in the hymen at several positions.
During the investigation, the police secured several pieces of evidence, including a Tut Wuri Handayani embroidered batik shirt, a maroon-colored skirt, a maroon-colored headscarf, and a pair of shorts.
For the alleged crime, the suspect is charged under Article 473 paragraph (1), paragraph (2)(b), and paragraph (3)(c) in conjunction with Article 415(b) of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code (KUHP).
Based on the article of law under which he is charged, the suspect faces a maximum imprisonment of 12 years. However, the alleged criminal act must still be proven through the applicable legal process.
