Airing since Monday, (5/10/2026) on Disney+, Between Steps is a romantic Korean drama that follows the story of Park Min Jae (Choo Young Woo) and Im Yoo Jin (Kim So Hyun).

Park Min Jae used to be a high school swimmer, but he lost his right leg due to an illness. Finding a new path in life, Park Min Jae is now a doctoral student specializing in robotics.

On the other hand, Im Yoo Jin briefly studied fashion and textile design without a clear direction. Because of an incident, she was labeled a troublemaker in her department.

This closed off her chances to continue her studies to the graduate level in that field. That’s when she met Park Min Jae and began to explore the new world of robotics.

2. Love in a Berry Grove

Another latest Korean drama airing on Disney+ starting Wednesday, (7/10/2026) is Love in a Berry Grove. This series is a Korean-Japanese drama featuring Korean actor Ji Chang Wook and Japanese actress Mio Imada, Thecuy.

Featuring a rom-com genre, this Korean drama tells the story of Lee Yu Bin (Ji Chang Wook), a Korean interior designer who achieved great success in his home country but lost everything overnight.

He then went to an island in Japan hoping to change his fortunes. There, he met Shirahama Karin (Mio Imada), a young Japanese strawberry farmer who has dedicated her life to cultivating strawberries.

3. Doctor X

As the title suggests, Doctor X is a Korean medical drama with noir and dark comedy elements, Thecuy.

The story begins with the arrival of Gye Su Jeong, played by Kim Ji Won, a brilliant surgeon sent from a renowned medical staffing agency. His exceptional abilities have earned him a high reputation for his performance in the operating room.

Gye Su Jeong is posted to Guseo University Hospital, a hospital entangled in corruption. However, the brilliant surgeon refuses to be used by a system supported solely by power, influence, and money.

Instead, Gye Su Jeong charts his own path as a medical professional relying on his full surgical skills while gradually exposing the corrupt acts within the hospital.

Doctor X will be released on Friday, (9/10/2026) on Netflix.

4. Take Charge of My Heart

Chae Soo Bin plays Na Bo Bae in the drama Take Charge of My Heart. Behind her cute character, she actually has a superpower: she can generate electricity. So anyone she touches will get an electric shock.

Featuring a rom-com genre, Take Charge of My Heart tells the story of a man whose artificial heart battery is almost depleted and a woman with a unique ability to recharge his power.

Baek Ho Rang (Kim Young Kwang) is an executive at TS Resort and heir to TS Group who needs surgery for his artificial heart whose power is dwindling. He then meets Na Bo Bae (Chae Soo Bin), a drama series writer with mysterious powers.

As a child, Na Bo Bae was struck by lightning and gained mysterious electric powers. This power causes her body to emit electricity that can easily shock anyone who touches her. Because of an incident, Baek Ho Rang offers Na Bo Bae a contract to make an agreement.

5. 100 Days of Deception

Kim Yoo Jung and Park Jin Young share hidden motives and secrets. Beginning with suspicion, their relationship evolves into genuine feelings.

*100 Days of Deception* is a Korean romantic drama featuring action and espionage elements.

This Korean drama is set during the Japanese occupation of Korea and tells the story of Lee Ga Gyeong (Kim Yoo Jung), the most skilled thief in Gyeongseong (the name for Seoul at that time).

She dreams of moving to America and plans to earn money to make this happen, including by agreeing to infiltrate the Japanese general’s government in Korea by posing as a prospective translator.

There, Lee Ga Gyeong becomes involved with Kim Tae Woong, also known as Sato Hideo (Park Jin Young), a new translator appointed by the General’s Government and the adopted son of the Inspector General of Korea (second in command of the Japanese Government in Korea).
