Setelah beberapa kali penundaan jadwal penayangannya, produksi The Batman Part II kini dikabarkan tengah dihentikan untuk sementara waktu.
The production of The Batman Part II has temporarily been halted, as director Matt Reeves is reported to have left the set to attend to family matters.
Produksi The Batman Part II untuk sementara waktu harus dihentikan. Sutradara Matt Reeves dikabarkan meninggalkan proses produksi untuk fokus menangani urusan keluarga.
“The production of The Batman Part II has been temporarily stopped while Matt Reeves concentrates on family matters. Matt has the full support of DC Studios and we hope to resume this journey soon,” the studio said.
Prior to the halt, filming for The Batman Part II was underway in London. The movie is still slated for theatrical release on 18 February 2028.
Robert Pattinson hingga Colin Farrell Kembali
The Batman Part II sees Robert Pattinson reprising his role as Bruce Wayne / Batman. Andy Serkis also returns as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell will once again play Oswald Cobblepot / Penguin.
The film also adds several new faces to its cast, such as Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Brian Tyree Henry, Jayme Lawson, Charles Dance, Gil Perez‑Abraham, and Sebastian Koch.
Notably, Matt Reeves is known for being extremely cautious about keeping the storyline of The Batman Part II under wraps. He has implemented strict script security measures to prevent plot details from leaking to the public.
Robert Pattinson reportedly receives the script in a special sealed envelope with a secret code‑locked system. The security was so tight that it reportedly made it hard for Pattinson to open the delivered script.
Reeves went to such lengths to ensure that the film’s mysteries remain concealed until the appropriate moment.
“‘He is Batman, and if he doesn’t like it, it’s serious,’ Reeves said when discussing Pattinson’s reaction after he finally managed to read the script.”
With production now temporarily halted, fans will have to wait for further updates on when filming for The Batman Part II will resume.
At present, 18 February 2028 remains the scheduled release date for Robert Pattinson’s Batman to return to the big screen.
