TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com — The dispute over the Supervisory Board (Dewas) of the RSUD dr. Soekardjo BLUD in Tasikmalaya City has entered a fresh stage. This time, the appointment of three Dewas members has officially been escalated to the Mayor of Tasikmalaya through an administrative objection.

The objection was lodged by a lawyer and resident of Tasikmalaya City, Taufiq Rahman, who is also an attorney, via a letter dated October 2, 2026.

The letter was directed straight to the Mayor of Tasikmalaya as a protest against the decision and/or action concerning the appointment of the RSUD dr. Soekardjo Dewas members.

Taufiq said the letter had been hand‑delivered to the Mayor’s office and accepted by staff on Friday, October 2, 2026.

According to him, the move was not merely about questioning who occupied the Dewas seats.

More importantly, the objection served as a warning for the Tasikmalaya City Government to be more cautious when making administrative decisions.

“I submitted the letter to issue a stern warning to the Mayor to be careful in making policies and to be cautious in making state administrative decisions,” said Taufiq on Sunday (4/10/2026).

He considered that the decision concerning the RSUD Dewas had far‑reaching legal implications.

Not only for the Dewas members or the Tasikmalaya City Government, but also for the operations and management of RSUD dr. Soekardjo.

Taufiq even warned of the consequences if the decision to appoint the Dewas was later declared invalid in the State Administrative Court (PTUN).

He gave an example that if the Dewas appointed based on a decree was later declared defective or was not entitled to receive honorarium, the problem could spread to regional financial management.

“Let’s imagine if the decision was invalid, then the hospital proceeded to pay them. The problem would shift to the realm of corruption,” he said.

According to him, payments using state finances without a valid legal basis could potentially become a serious legal issue.

“State finances are spent without a valid legal basis or are null and void in the eyes of the law,” he asserted.

Not only about honorarium. Taufiq also highlighted all strategic decisions related to the Dewas, including approval of the RSUD Business and Budget Plan (RBA).
