PANGANDARAN, Thecuy.com – Kapolres Pangandaran AKBP Ikrar Potawari joined the Subuh congregational prayer with residents at Masjid Miftahul Khoer in Sidamulih district.
The event forms part of the regular Subuh Rundown program run by the Pangandaran Police to foster closer ties between law‑enforcement and the community.
After the Subuh congregational prayer, the Pangandaran Police and the community held an interactive dialogue. During this session, Ikrar noted that the Subuh Rundown activity serves not only as a joint act of worship but also as a platform for the Police to directly hear the community’s aspirations and information.

“The Subuh Rundown and Friday Rundown programs are one way to strengthen the bond of silaturahmi between the Police and the community, while also enabling face‑to‑face meetings and listening to public concerns,” he said in a statement on Friday (25/9/2026).
He believes that direct communication with the community is vital for monitoring developments in public security and order across Pangandaran Regency.
The Chief of Police also stressed that maintaining security is not solely the Police’s responsibility. Community involvement is essential to create a safe and conducive environment.
“The Indonesian National Police cannot work alone in preserving public security and order. Collaboration and synergy with all community members are required to jointly uphold law and order,” he added.
During the dialogue, residents were reminded not to hesitate in reporting any security‑or‑order issues they encounter in their neighborhoods.
Such information can be shared with the Bhabinkamtibmas assigned to each village or directly with the Pangandaran Police for prompt follow‑up.
Furthermore, the Chief of Police introduced the Police 110 service to the congregation. This service allows the public to submit reports or information concerning disturbances of public security and order free of charge.

“If you gentlemen discover or become aware of any disturbances of public security and order, you can immediately contact the Police service through the number 110,” he explained.
Through this Subuh Rundown activity, the Pangandaran Police continue to build closer community ties. Their presence extends beyond responding to problems, offering a dialogue space to directly understand community conditions and needs. (Deni Nuriansah)
