CIAMIS, Thecuy.com – PSGC Ciamis mengoleksi tiga angka setelah menundukkan Sumsel United 2-0 dalam lanjutan Liga 2 Pegadaian Championship di Stadion Galuh Ciamis, hari Sabtu (19/9/2026).
Di hadapan suporter tuan rumah, PSGC Ciamis langsung mengambil alih inisiatif serangan sejak awal. Tekanan yang dilancarkan tim tuan rumah akhirnya membuahkan hasil melalui penyerang andalan mereka, Ezechiel Ndouasel.
Pada menit ke-37, PSGC Ciamis memperoleh kans dari tendangan bebas di luar kotak penalti. Bola lalu disundul oleh Ezechiel Ndouasel dan berbuah menjadi gol ke gawang Sumsel United. PSGC Ciamis memimpin 1-0.

As the first half neared its end, Sumsel United got a golden chance to level the score after being awarded a penalty. However, PSGC Ciamis goalkeeper Raufa Aghastya shone by stopping the penalty kick.
In the second half, PSGC Ciamis stepped up the pressure again. At the 59th minute, Ezechiel Ndouasel found the net once more, doubling the home side’s lead to 2-0.
Sumsel United tried to narrow the gap. However, it became more difficult after they were reduced to ten men in the 81st minute due to a foul on a PSGC Ciamis player.
When the final whistle blew, no further goals were scored. PSGC Ciamis secured a 2-0 victory and earned three crucial points on home soil.
PSGC Ciamis coach Heri Kiswanto expressed satisfaction with his team’s positive result. He said the match was not easy as Sumsel United also came with the ambition to win.
“On a personal level, I’m extremely happy with the current result. The match was quite tense, with Sumsel United putting up a fight,” he said at the post-match press conference.
Heri thought that Sumsel United’s failure to convert the penalty also impacted the match. PSGC Ciamis then managed to take advantage of the situation to maintain their lead until the end.

“They (Sumsel United) missed the penalty and lost some momentum. We, who had a numerical and score advantage, were able to capitalize with a victory,” he said.
This victory marks a positive outcome for PSGC Ciamis. Heri also praised the players for their ability to play more aggressively, disciplined, and effectively make use of chances.
