<p>Final Interview is a film adaptation of a popular Japanese novel by Akinari Asakura. The story follows six candidates at a global IT company who must compete in a final interview session and debate for the sole vacant position. </p>
It started with the candidates who managed to survive a fierce competition with odds of 5000 to 1 to make it to the final stage. They were given two hours to select one candidate through five rounds of open voting.
However, the interview which initially seemed fair turned into a tense and puzzling situation when several mysterious envelopes containing each candidate’s dark secrets were discovered.
As these secrets were revealed, the candidates began to suspect each other and confront each other’s hidden truths.
Psychological Battle Between the Six Candidates

The competition for the vacant position turned into a psychological battle as the six of them tried to find out who was telling the truth.
The six characters will be portrayed by renowned young Korean actors and actresses, starting with Moon Hye In (Cho Yi Hyun), an observer who calmly assesses the situation, and Han Jin Woo (Kim Jae Won), an idealist with an open mind.
Next, Baek Seung Bin (Shin Seung Ho), a high‑oriented leader, Lee Hee Chan (Kang You Seok), a relaxed mediator, Jeon Yo Han (Kwak Dong Yeon), a strategist who hides his true feelings, and Cha Ju Won (Bae Gang Hee), a perfectionist with a flawless record.

On Wednesday (9/9) last week, production house Next Entertainment World announced that the film Final Interview is scheduled to be released in cinemas in November 2026.
Through the poster released simultaneously, six candidates are seen gathered around a table with a timer in the middle. Even though they sit close together, stiff facial expressions and vigilant stares suggest a conflict in the interview room.
