The drama ‘100 Days of Deception’ tells the story of Korea’s period under Japanese colonization. Set in 1932, specifically in Gyeongseong (the former name of Seoul), the narrative focuses on Lee Ga Kyeong (Kim Yoo Jung), a masterful pickpocket on a perilous 100‑day mission.
In this drama, viewers gain a firsthand look at Korea’s transition to modernity, influenced by Western and Japanese cultures. During the final years of the Joseon dynasty, Koreans blended traditional hanbok attire with Western suits and elegant dresses.
Beyond clothing, audiences will be treated to the stunning cityscape of Gyeongseong, where European‑style buildings coexist with traditional architecture.

Kim Yoo Jung began her acting career at a very young age as a child actress. To this day, she has appeared in numerous dramas and films, portraying a wide range of characters.
In ‘100 Days of Deception’, Kim Yoo Jung’s performance as Lee Ga Kyeong is highly anticipated by viewers, as it marks a new, action‑filled role involving extensive disguise.
Meanwhile, Park Jin Young of ‘GOT7’ is known as a talented idol‑actor with equally impressive acting skills. This time, Park Jin Young will play Kim Tae Woong, a translator and adopted son of a government general.
Menggabungkan Tema Politik dan Romansa yang Menarik

Unlike typical historical dramas that focus on palace intrigues, ‘100 Days of Deception’ portrays the Korean people’s struggle for independence.
The narrative includes numerous conflicts and significant events from the Japanese colonial era. Despite its premise being filled with tension and heavy themes, the drama is still infused with touching romantic elements.
The meeting of Lee Ga Kyeong and Kim Tae Woong sparks a romance. However, their love must navigate a complex political landscape, requiring them to fight for and let go of many things.
Those are the three key reasons why you should watch ‘100 Days of Deception’. For those eager to follow the continued adventures of Lee Ga Kyeong and Kim Tae Woong, the drama will be available on Netflix starting October 10, 2026!
