The Ramparts of Ice began as a Japanese webtoon before moving to Line Manga, LINE’s digital comic site. Its run started on January 10, 2020, and concluded on April 28, 2022, after two years. MangaPlaza releases the work in English, summarizing the plot:
Koyuki Hikawa struggles with social interaction and builds a barrier around herself. After spending her high school years isolated, she encounters the overly friendly Minato Amamiya. Together with the charismatic Miki, the boundary‑testing Minato, and the easy‑going basketball player Yota, these four uneasy youths navigate the blossoming days of adolescence.
